5 Simple steps to take on your HUD funded slumlord!

1.Notify–>  2.Document–>  3.Report & Request–>  4.Organize—>  5.Contact HUD

  1. Notify!
    • Notify your maintenance company of ongoing issues.
  2. Document!
    • Document issues with photos, videos, and copies of all communications with the property manager and/or landlord.
  3. Report & Request!
    • If landlord fails to correct issues, file official complaints with your city or town’s housing regulations authority.  Request a housing inspection.
  4. Organize!
    • Ask your neighbors if they are experiencing similar conditions.  If so, encourage them also to take the above steps. Together you can get better results!
  5. Contact HUD!
